Fun Find: Keeping Your Lunch Safe

I’ve never been the victim of a lunch theft.  However, I’ve seen many a company refrigerators, and they all have one thing in common: they’re black holes.  You can put something in, but you can’t be guaranteed it will still be there when that lunch whistle blows. More than once, I’ve seen a poor girl rifling through a freezer, only to be resigned to the fact that someone else (most likely on another floor) has enjoyed her Lean Cuisine that day.  The nerve!

Filled with old milk cartons, hundreds of packets of ketchup, butter and jelly, bottles of salad dressing, expired cups of yogurt, half eaten pieces of fruit, leftovers from lunch meetings, and much, much more crap, company refrigerators are not a safe place for anyone’s lunch. However, a recent edition of Daily Candy introduced the world to anti-theft lunch bags, a sandwich bag that makes your sandwich look like it has mold on it, giving you a much better chance of retrieving your lunch from that black hole of a refrigerator.

Quite clever–and believeable!
